Bronze Age, Hallstatt culture, bronze double spiral fibula in a very rare miniature size, probably for a young child.  This spiral fibula is made of a single wire which is decorated with linear incisions. The wire is expertly shaped in the form of two spiral discs which are connected by a double loop in the shape of a figure eight.

± 37,6 x 16,3 mm

Condition: Good solid condition, complete with catchplate. Part of the pin missing. Attractive olive-green to brown patina. Signs of wear consistent with age and use.
